EnsiliTech Nominated for OBN Award - Best Biotech Startup.

Bristol, August 18th 2023: We are thrilled to announce that EnsiliTech has been nominated for an OBN award for Best Biotech Startup. This prestigious award recognizes the most innovative and promising biotech companies in the UK.

Founded to create an enhanced environment to support the development and growth of Member organisations within the innovative Life Sciences sector, the OBN has been an important part of our development and research.

We are honoured to be among the finalists for this award, which reflects our dedication to creating cutting-edge biotechnology that can address some of the most pressing challenges of our time. The annual OBN Awards, now in their 15th year, are a highly regarded and sought-after awards programme for the Life Sciences industry, designed to celebrate innovation and outstanding achievement across all corners of the industry.

EnsiliTech is a Bristol-based startup, which spun out from the University of Bath in July 2022. In January 2023, EnsiliTech had finalised a first, oversubscribed, pre-seed investment round of £1.2M. This consisted of an Innovate UK grant and private investment from Science Angels Syndicate, Fink Family Office, QantX, and angels.
