EnsiliTech Welcomes New Laboratory Staff

Bristol, 1st May 2023: We’re pleased to welcome three new lab staff to our EnsiliTech team:

Dr Rachel Smith, obtained her PhD in Medical and Health Care Studies from Swansea University. She brings with her a wealth of experience in regenerative medicine and microvesicle analysis.

Alex Crofts, with a background in biological sciences from the University of Lancaster, joins us from Abcam where he spent time on the development and manufacture of antibody products.

Laura Sheppard has previously worked closely with the founding team of EnsiliTech during our time at the University of Bath and has experience in inorganic chemistry both from education and industry time at Twickenham Plating Group. All three of our new team bring with them different areas of industry experience and will be vital in driving forward the development of ensilication technology. They will be based in our laboratory space within Science Creates St Philips in Bristol and will be instrumental in propelling our research and creating cold chain independent biologicals.
